PURE POWER ASIA: On 20 July 2007 Pure Power Asia (PPA) came on board as a 19.9% ‘cornerstone’ shareholder to Aquaflow. PPA are based in Singapore and aim to take renewable energy throughout Asia. NEW OFFICES AND FACTORY: Our staff numbers are beginning to grow as we tackle the important tasks ahead of us. New offices have been leased which include a factory suitable and isolated enough for converting algae to bio-fuel. We no sooner moved into when we realised that our new offices won’t be big enough for everyone so we have now leased part of the next door building as well. October 2007
COMMERCIAL SCALE CONTINUOUS ALGAE HARVESTING: We have now achieved commercial scale continuous harvesting of tonnes of wild algae at the Marlborough oxidation ponds so we can take the step up to commercial scale production of biocrude. March 2008
COMMISSIONING OF A PROTOTYPE COMMERCIAL PLANT: We have commissioned our newly built proprietary biorefinery and made our first machine run. We expect to make further announcements in that regard in the next few months. These are major steps forward for us and we expect to be able to produce commercial quantities of biocrude within the next few months. March 2008
